Yes, I like Anthony Benintendi too. Some of my other favorites include Gary Stanton, Adam Judge, and Larry Severino. One of my all-time favorites, though he was never a Yankee, was Fred Williams, aka Freddy Ballgame. |

Same way we evaluate brain surgeons, salesmen, football coaches, and commercial pilots: Yep, your child died in surgery, but our process was sound. I may have crashed a few planes, but there was nothing wrong with my process. Lloyd hasn't sold a car in a year, but the guy's process is second to none. Nick Saban is still at Alabama because of his process, not his six NCAA National Championships and record of 190-26. Cashman is one of the luckiest sons of bitches... |

The Boone and Cashman interviews were one of the most depressing things I've watched. Boone's interviews could be used as a torture device. They can say all their bullshit because they won't be held accountable. The whole "process" blather was nothing but pure garbage and eye rolling. They defend IKF and Donaldson because everyone but Cash knows it was a horrible trade. I can imagine the two of them saying to each other after the interview, "that went well" and they actually believe it. Just painful. |
