I said at the time that Judge announced free-agency that I figured Judge at 9/$375. I figure now that’s where he’s headed. If the Yankees want him, that’s what they should offer… |

So they talked to Joel Sherman on MLB network and he said there was no new news and lots of gossip and he would like some actual facts to come out.
So again it seems like wtf knows.

I've never seen experts, analysts in the know, the manager, and the GM are all completely in the dark to the point you have one of the more notable people in the know (Heyman) put out a false report that WTF knows where he got it from and now it's almost 12 hours later since the happened and everyone is more confused than they were before. Is Judge even talking to anyone at this point? Like this is the most in the dark free agency process I've ever seen. I almost wonder if he just went quiet for a day or two because of that article, but at the same time if he is leaning SF you would think he wouldn't care about if the Yankees were annoyed? |

It may also be because other bidders have come out, further complicating Judge’s thinking. Also, a further complication is that he has a wife now, as well. We have no idea which way she may be influencing him. Going silent would be a good way to spend more time really focusing on what they want together. I’m over it, honestly. If he moves on, perhaps the money will be used to build a more complete team that’s less dependent on guy. Maybe that wouldn’t be a bad thing. I’ve always said one player should never be the difference between success and failure. Heck, in recent years it’s seemed at times that one piece breaks down and the teams that signed them have failed (Pujols and the Angels for instance. Miggy and the Tigers. Chris Davis and the Orioles)… |
