I believe that is the starting lineup from the March 23 Spring Training game my friend! I was trying to see if I remembered how to post link from twitter prior to tomorrows' game. Was hoping no one would see it as I attempt to delete it...lol I normally post lineup from another site that is no longer available.

I am trying to delete it without success...lol Was hoping no one would see it...lol I normally post lineup from another site that is no longer available. lol, hit the gear button to the top right of the post then click "Delete post". The official Yankees twitter usually has the lineups too.

Remember Bob Horner's weight clause? He could earn significant bonuses if he kept his weight below 215 pounds. The guy could hit, though. A 127 career OPS+. I miss JWild's dissertations. Especially on Mad Magazine, which for both of us provided a lifelong guide for a proper attitude. Can anyone give me a heartfelt potrzebie? That is classic Rizz. I don't think I missed an issue between the ages of about eight to thirteen. Even the paperback compilations, one of the titles of which was "It's A World World World World Mad." Yecch, as they used to say.

Mickey Mantle hit a 10th inning walk off home run July 22, 1954 after switching to SS. July 22, 1954.
During Casey Stengel’s tenure there were 8 times that Mickey played at either second, short, or third base. Casey might have outsmarted himself in those games because the walk off homer provided the only win in those games. Most of them we games where Mantle switched positions during the game. September 26, 1954 Mantle played an entire game at SS as the Yanks fell to the A’s, still in Philadelphia at the time 8-6. Ironically after the game, the teams had mirror image records with the Yanks finishing the season at 103-51, and the woeful A’s 51-103.
With the pennant wrapped up that day, Stengel also started Bill Skowron out of position, at 2B…

Casey had a power infield line-up of Mickey Mantle at ss and Willie Miranda at 2b, switching positions depending on the batter. Yogi Berra would played 3B for the Yankees last game against the A's in Philadelphia in 1954.

In 1962, the Yankees played 25 single admission double headers. After the expansion of 1969, doubleheaders began to decrease, by 1980 the Yanks featured only 4 DH all season.
Now they’re even rarer and the concept of the two games for one admission is all but dead…
