Art Fleming warming up. We may be in jeopardy. Nice pre-Trebek reference! During part of his run hosting "Jeopardy" in the 1970s, Art Fleming lived in an old farmhouse in southeast PA and would commute to LA every few weeks to do a couple of weeks worth of shows. I always thought the show was more difficult pre-Trebek, but that may have been because of my age when Fleming was hosting.

I do know that a show like "GE College Bowl" in the 60s and 70s was orders of magnitude more difficult even than "Jeopardy" and would never work today because it required an enormous amount of serious academic knowledge.
