Casey has never coached before, so I'm hesitant to believe that his hitting instructor skills will be accepted amongst the Yankee hitters.

Inger is my recommendation for Yankees hitting coach position. Pull happy, swings as hard as he can every time. More of a defender with power. Think Joey Gallo.  |

I did make contact almost every at bat, and though I didn’t choke up, I did cut my swing down with two strikes. My focus was not such much to swing hard as it was to make solid contact, driving the ball with the mass of a heavy bat. To me, it was a supreme failure to strike out and a disappointment if I hit the ball on the ground. Any loft was natural, I didn’t uppercut much, if at all… |
