Oh i dunno maybe a top of the rotation starter puts up constant eras about 3.5 ? Not multiple seasons of eras of eras from 3.9 to about 4.4 . I mean noone thinks monty is a top of the rotation starter despite putting up mostly similar numbers . Let me ask again..Can tell me of a #3 pitcher with Cease's K rate and swing and miss ratio. How many times do i have to tell you that it takes more than strikeouts to be a top of the rotation pitcher ??

You said Cease was a strong #3 pitcher. So how about it? I'm still waiting for you to tell me once and name the #3 pitcher with Cease's K rate and swing and miss ratio?

Still waiting........What #3 pitcher has Cease's K rate and swing and miss ratio?

And what top of the rotation pitcher has a career era of about 4 ? When an era of 4 is considered average? And how many top of the rotation pitchers put up seasons like last season at 27 years old? And why isnt monty considered a top of the rotation pitcher despite putting up mostly similar numbers and with a better career era?

I wasn't going to say anything, but that reminds me...I believe you got "chastised" by the YES monitor for instigating. If you're going to reply to me, either talk about the issue that's being discussed or get lost. Because when it was time for you to speak up for yourself when the YES monitor made the aforementioned post, you and the other one stayed silent like little wussies.

I already told you that Pettitte's career ERA is 0.02 higher than Cease's. Andy was a top of the rotation pitcher that became an Ace. He also had 9 years when his ERA was over 4. Also, Cease's career ERA isn't 4.00, and I said that he has top of the rotation stuff. I also didn't ask you to answer my question with another question. I answered your question twice, now do the right thing and answer mine...

What #3 pitcher has Cease's K rate and swing and miss ratio? pettitte wasnt an ace . He was a very good pitcher who had guys like wells , clemens , And cc pitching in front of him . And a big game pitcher in the playoffs too . I love pettitte but he was more of a great 3 to a number 2 in his prime. Now tell me why isnt monty considered a top of the rotation guy despite putting up mostly similar numbers to cease and while a yankee was seen as another pettitte?
