Now that Peralta is gone my only question is who becomes the closer when Holmes either has pitched 2 days in a row or more likely when he goes thorough his normal slump every year and can't throw strikes. Peralta may have been our most dependable and clutch reliever the last 2 years. I know he has no fear. Now ith him and King gone who steps up? Not thrilled with unknowns being depended on.
And what is the front office doing? This team is still incomplete. It is the same SOS every year. Get to 80% complete and then leave a huge void in a key spot which ends up blowing up in our face... usually before spring training ends

I say its more like 60 % in . And what they are doing is pinching pennies with the pitching . Which is just stupid

Keep it up, Brian. We might need YOU as a reliever this season. But wait! Are you a LH pitcher? Oh, you say, it doesn't matter.

Greg Allen, Part III. Cashman just can't get enough of this guy. Guess Jonathan Davis wasn't available.

When the Yanks traded for Sota, it felt like the start of an "all-in" offseason. Doesn't feel to me like we followed it up with the type of moves that would contiue that approach. Certainly we will be better offensively but SP and RP are both thin. Who thinks Cash has somthing up his sleeve? I'm talking more than a reclamation project or back of the rotation arm.

The way I see it the problem for the Yankees is pitching depth. That is going to be hard to replace. There are lots of names and maybe Cshman thinks he has it in his youngsters but it makes me nervous.
