It's so infuriating that Wells has a double and a homer and then in the next game he can't even DH. Bauers is playing in RF so Judge can DH. Why is Bauers seeing any time in the lineup?

Apparently the Yankees still believe Bauers can be a part of their future with his unlocked power potential… I don’t see it. He had k e real nice stretch for us this season. I doubt he’s going to heat up like that often enough to be of benefit. He beings on a non-contender like… oh… the Yankees… 😢 |

It’s been a while since we all shared our local weather. It’s 71 degrees here in sunny Mosca, Colorado, heading for a high of 72. The humidity is 21%, the wind is out of the SW at 15 MPH with gusts expected up to 28 MPG. The dew point is a delicious 31 degrees with tonight’s predicted low at 41 degrees. Yes! Autumn is landing here. The air quality is 28 and the barometer 29.76 and dropping slightly.
I see our old homestead in Pueblo West is still being burdened with 84 degree weather and I believe this to be my personal reward for a life well-lived. Don’t wait for Heaven, especially if you don’t believe in it, enjoy it here on earth…

At this point it's a complete joke. Another fine effort for our offense today is certain to produce a run at some point in the game. We might even have an inning or two where we have valuable traffic and just won’t happen to have the good fortune to get a hit at the right moment. Sort of the reverse of the Tim McCarver comment about Bob Gibson that was posted the other day. We just seem to be the team batting when the opposing pitcher is at his best. The team we dreamed of maybe taking 5 out of 6 from us showing us why they’re in contention and we’re not… We is gettin’ our pinstriped asses whipped… |
