I don't know how many of you are interested, but the 2023 post season in underway.
Ex-Yankee Jordan Montgomery shut down the Rays in game one, so Texas leads that series 1-0.
Minnesota leads Toronto 3-1 on two Royce Lewis HR's. Chad Green just pitched a scoreless inning for the Jays.

Thanks for putting this up Chi. Obviously we aren't going to get the kind of participation we'd get if the Yankees were in, but I'm at least tuning in and out as the spirit moves me.
Monty looked great. Hope Cashman was watching. First time all year Tampa Bay made four errors.
Unexpected pleasure hearing Michael Kay doing the Twins-Jays game. I'm definitely for the Twins in this one. Man, that Royce Lewis is something else. He's been out with a hamstring strain for over two weeks, and first game back he hits two home runs.

I’m not interested in watching, but I am curious enough to want to know what happened. I got a lot of work done today without having the ability to get my Yankees “fix”. I consider the first day without baseball because teams are often off on Mondays any way.
Tomorrow will be leaf-peeping day. Probably headed to the true high country, higher than our 7,630 feet here at home. I wonder what percentage of the US population lives at over 7,500 feet? How about the world population? Am I turning into Blue Country?…

I found this in a quick Wiki search, based on 8,200 feet. I should think there is quite a larger population at 7,000 ft to 8,199, because the official designation of “high” altitude seems to be set at 8,000 feet:
Around 81.6 million humans (approximately 1.1% of the world's human population) live permanently at altitudes above 2,500 meters (8,200 sf),[4] putting these populations at risk for chronic mountain sickness…

Rooting against Houston, Toronto, and the Rays for sure.

La Paz Bolivia is the world's highest altitude capital at almost 12,000 feet. The metro population is around two million. Quito Ecuador at about 9,200 feet also has around two million in the metro area. Bogota Colombia has about eight million people living at around 8,600 feet. Lots of fair-sized high-altitude cities all over Peru. Okay, back to post-season baseball.

I could stumble across a Weber State -- Northern Arizona football game at 11 PM in November and within a few minutes I'd be rooting for one of them.

Coney on the Phillies -- Marlins broadcast. I'd be okay with a Phillies -- Orioles World Series just because for me it generates local interest. The Braves look awfully good though. Mainly I don't want Toronto, even more so than Houston.

It wasn't enough to prevent Kenny Singleton from picking up a World Series ring.

It does stink that the American League series are the early games all three days. You would think that they could mix them up a bit.

And it was the last World Series with Bowie Kuhn as Commissioner.
