Since Frazier is within the rules I would think everyone should be fine with it. It does take time to sever ties with certain situations when you relocate, whether they would be family, friends, or business. Tauchman is likely more concerned with his career since he hasn’t built as much of a resume. Besides, Frazier probably thinks he’s being traded away from that team and will never have to deal with fallout from his actions. He’s wrong, of course. Life doesn’t generally work that way. Baseball is a nomadic business... I don't think anyone can blame Frazier for being disappointed and frustrated by being sent down. He belongs in the big leagues, so it's human nature to feel this way, hopefully a couple of days to clear his head does him some good.

He & Stanton could take turns in Field/DHing.
We need to pace ourselves (DH) with Stanton, Judge so we avoid another quick injury to them. Frazier fits in nicely for this..

Morales is on the IL, he is not on the 25 man roster. Encarnacion is the DH. There is no space for Frazier.

Both are more valuable than Frazier at this point with Frazier’s fielding issues. He has to man up. I do feel bad for him, but when you play for the top organization in baseball, it can be much harder to stick with the team.

Yankees’ Aaron Boone responds to Clint Frazier not yet reporting to Triple-A
Outfielder Mike Tauchman was farmed out by the Yankees after Monday night’s win at Yankee Stadium, then was in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre’s lineup Tuesday night and hit a first-inning homer.
All of that was very notable because outfielder Clint Frazier was optioned after the Yankees’ win in Chicago on Sunday and as of Tuesday night he hadn’t reported to his Triple-A club.
Frazier hasn’t broken any rules because players have 72 hours to report following an option, but this certainly appears to be a message that the young outfielder is angry and/or frustrated about losing his roster spot with the Yankees despite putting up very good offensive stats. It also could mean that Frazier figures the rumors are true that he’s now a trade chip.
Following the Yankees’ 6-3 win over the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday night, NJ Advance Media after manager Aaron Boone if he’s disappointed that Frazier had yet to report to Triple-A.
“I’m confident he’ll report and get going,” Boone said as he was returning to his office following his post-game news conference. “It’s a tough time to go through.”
He’s doing his best to get traded to another team I guess.

He probably needs a mental health day or two, and he is taking advantage of the travel window to report; however, it’s probably not a good look that Tauchman was sent down a day later and already hit a home run in his return to AAA. I wonder how the teammates at AAA feel about the delay? I’m sure he isn’t impressing his current AAA teammates or his format MLB teammates.

What pisses me off is that he's not only hurting his own value but also affecting how valuable a trade chip he is.

He always assumes he’ll get a fresh start on his new team. I hope Jeter likes him... Although, he’d have to send us prospects to pay for him... (:

oh, but to have Frazier's baseball ability, and a straight-thinking head....the guy doesn't know how lucky he is to have that talent...….hope his folks or girlfriend can talk some sense into his brain before he does serious career damage....
I was trying to remember what the deal with Carl Edwards was....I remember he had ability, but had some difficulty and was out of baseball way too soon...anyone remember him?

‘It’s not the Clint Frazier pity show’: Yankees outfielder’s candid comments after demotion
Clint Frazier has not softened on his workplace change, even after taking all 72 of his collectively-bargained hours to process the move. But the exiled Yankees slugger is saying all the right things about it. The recently-demoted outfielder reiterated he is not happy with his recent demotion after reporting to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Wednesday. But he said he plans to make the best of the situation, wants to be with the Yankees and stressed “it’s not the Clint Frazier pity show right now." “I have to come down here and do nothing differently than I did up there," Frazier said before the RailRiders’ game against the Norfolk Tides at PNC Field. "Some stuff was working up there offensively, and obviously defensively I have some stuff I need to continue to do. I don’t think I’m going to change any part of my routine. I’m going to try to keep it like I’m in the big leagues in my head. “I’m still not thrilled about it, but there’s nothing I can do. There’s nothing anyone can say to me that will change what happened. It’s not fun, but I can’t let that move affect me. I have an opportunity to play down here every day, so I have to make the most of it I can. I’m still here, so I have to make the most of it.”
Frazier is not in the lineup Wednesday but RailRiders manager Jay Bell said he will be available off the bench. Bell said Frazier will be in the lineup Thursday night, and every day after that. Frazier indicated he expected to split his time between center and left field and said he would embrace the opportunity to improve the Achilles heel in his game, joking, “I didn’t want to be a 24-year-old DH."
“I’m not a bad outfielder,” he said. “I just went through a couple bad skids up there."

Too late, Clint. You said it, and I’m going to remember it... Nah-Nah...Nah-nah-Nah!!!
Seriously, it sounds like someone with a strong influence over him had a good talk with him about what he has offered on the platter before him, and how he needs to focus on that instead of the negative. To his credit, he’s listening and doing an about face...
For his sake, I hope he’s sincere and has a fine career, no matter where that happens...
