Good for Frazier. Do the Yankees really need 8 relievers? Dump Hale instead of another position player.

In a corresponding roster move, right-hander David Hale was designated for assignment.

It's not a good time to be a Yankee on the bubble...Especially a Yankee on the bubble that still has options...

Clint Frazier sent down.
No word on who's coming up yet. It's not Drury because of the 10 day rule. Maybe Tommy Kahnle?

I like Frazier and the energy he brings, but he won't get playing time with the big club. Better for him to be playing every day at SWB until they need him for regular action.

From RAB:
LF Clint Frazier: 2-5, 1 R, 1 2B, 1 HR, 1 RBI — 10-for-18 (.556) with two doubles, one triple, one homer, two walks, and one strikeouts in his last four games … he’s hitting .353/.421/.659 in 21 games with Scranton and it’s getting to the point where more time in Triple-A does nothing for him … Frazier needs to be challenged

I was like damn kaybli.. I didn't even get a notice from at bat. Lol. Anyways I agree he don't have anything to prove at AAA but what would he do on the major league roster. Gardy is hitting his stride right now so we gotta ride the hot hand in him. Should Hicks sit at the expenses of Frazier?? No sense bringing the kid up to ride the pine. Until there's an injury or Gardy cools off.. his best bet is prolly staying in AAA... And boosting h his trade value.. although I'm not a Hicks fan... I don't see the Yankees regulating him to a bench roll...

As usual, Hix is hitting just enough to tantalize and make us envision what he could be. Oh, if Hix could just get hot, we say. It happened once, we say. It could happen again we say. And we wait...And Hix gets older. And we get older. And Frazier gets older. That's the problem with players like Hix...Players that are "just misses" at stardom...

Its amazing...at his best, his swing almost looks Griffeyesque but thats few and far between.

And since last season, he looks so confident at the plate, as though he doesn't realize that it's been a while since the last time he rode a hot stretch...And of course, the manager is hitting him in run-producing line up positions for the most part...Since he looks like he can hit, maybe he will...I have nothing against it, mind you. If he starts hitting, I'll be a happy camper...but will he ever do that again???

With how deep this lineup is currently he definitely belongs in the bottom third of the order...hopefully he gets hot again soon or else Frazier is going to force his hand. I thought Gardner was about to do that recently but Gardy has heated up.
