How was the game, Joe? Did you stay until the end? Unfortunately, I am ashamed to say that we did not stay the whole time (I never leave games early). When the Yanks we down 5-3 and it was about 10 PM we got going. I had to be in the office at 730 AM yesterday for a meeting so I didnt want to get home after midnight (plus my dad had to drive all the way down to Monmouth county). Though the saving grace to leaving early was that we stopped at an Exxon just outside of Hoboken and saw Artie Lange there (my dad is a huge fan + Howard Stern). He looks horrible. I saw him live at a Boomer & Carton event following Hurricane Sandy so that was about 5.5 years ago...he has aged about 35 years.

Cool you saw Artie, he's one of my favorites. Sad that he looked terrible. He's been through a lot, that's for sure.

There should never be any shame in showing that you've matured into a responsible man that puts taking care of his family ahead of an entertainment event. That's a good life path to follow...Artie Lange was a nice "spot" for you guys, though. I don't have Sirius any more, and I do miss Howard...and that crazy gang...

Guess I am in fact maturing into another old geezer Its funny because we were in the Exxon-mart and my dad leans over to me and says "doesnt that guy at the counter look like Artie?" and I said "well yea of course it does bc thats Artie." He must still live in Hoboken too. My dad had his Mariano jersey on and Artie is a huge Yankee fan so he gave us a nod and a smile as he walked out...Im sure my dad got a kick out of that.

Red Thunder back up as the 26th man for the double header tomorrow! Let's hope he stays after the two games and they send Tyler Austin down!

Well yea but thats normal these days...gotta find a way to eat up 18 innings today then not be too tired for tomorrow/Wednesday.

In the good old days, that was a simple task. Just tell the starters they were going 9 regardless of the score... (: As for the regulars, they used to just tell them that if they played all 18 innings the owner might not cut their salary next year... (: Ernie Banks on steroids: It's a beautiful day, let's play THREE...

Artie now looks kind of like grandpa from the Munsters. Have you seen recent picture of him after his nose collapsed from snorting heroin and coke
