Love it Kaybli. We call him up though, who's playing time does he take? Gardner and Hicks really seem to be coming on strong... It would most likely be Gardy taking the seat because I think Boone would be reluctant to play Gardy in CF on a consistent basis...

Drury also deserves to be called up with no place to play... McKinney (sp?) is also deserving and would be starting on a majority of MLB teams

I don't know whats the reluctance to move Gardy to CF. Also play him against lefties when sitting Gardner. |

I really think Red Thunder has star potential. He can be a lot better than Gardner or Cashman's Guy.

I agree. I also think in the long term Drury is the better play than Andujar. That may be unpopular opinion but I have had unpopular opinions before and been correct. (Swisher over Nady is a proud moment of mine ha)

Admittedly, I haven't seen Drury play much but I've seen Andujar and he is something special at the plate. Imagine if he learns just a little plate discipline. I don't know what you're basing your love for Drury on. Andujar on the other hand is on pace for 79 XBHs on the year and he started late! |

Starlin Castro is a career .731 OPS hitter. Much better than Starlin Castro. I'm not ready to assume Andujar doesn't come back down to earth. Andujar is a 735 hitter in the minors and Castro 731 in majors... There's a growth curve in the minors while you are getting adjusted to pro ball as a teenager/early 20 year old. Andujar's total .735 OPS in the minors is not indicative to where he is as a hitter right now. Castro has been a finished product for a long time now. It's his 9th season major league season. He is what he is. Andujar can still improve. |
