I am not sure how I misrepresented anything. I quoted the article to say they did not trade him for a pitcher (actually pitchers) that they obviously wanted (or anyhow said they did).
This is what the article says "Yet the Bombers — despite an obvious need for starting pitching — wouldn’t move him in trade packages for the likes of Trevor Bauer, Marcus Stroman or Robbie Ray, according to sources. "
this is what I said "the Yankees refused to trade him for a pitcher when asked"
so is the concern that I said pitcher and the article says pitchers (as in they refused in more than one case not just one)? That is a really nitpicking complaint. In the future I will just post the link.

On multiple occasions, you have made the claim that Cashman did not try to trade for pitching, despite evidence otherwise from other posters.

Russ, this would be a good time for you to invoke your 5th amendment rights and lawyer up... Hint: I don’t think GreatFatness will take your case...

The reason Clint Frazier is at AAA is because Mike Tauchman is a better ballplayer. Apparently the Yankees believed that and Tauchman has demonstrated it.

Don’t you celebrate Spam day every July 15th? ... I celebrate the fact that I didn’t eat it on that day every year...

I love Spam, fried. Not as good as livermush, but good nonetheless--especially on a sandwich with a fried egg, mustard and mayo. Yum!
