Boone, Tino, Pettitte , and Donnie Baseball. Not sure if there are more planned. Very enjoyable. I made the mistake to record it on YES and I have 30 episodes of the the Boone one. Now you are obliged to watch Boone 30 times.  |

I know there is a lot of rumors of getting dumping Rizzo for a better option. One thing to remember is Rizzo is best friends with Judge. No sure we want to mess with the chemistry.

I think they’re both big boys and whatever is happening with Rizzo is well known by both. The worst part of dumping Rizzo at this point is replacing him. Lots of attractive bats n the minors, but no “real” first basemen…DJ could do it, but what to do at third, really. Oswaldo can pick it, but the bat is weak… the only real way to make room for Durbin is to move Gleyber out of his way. Can he play third? (There I go again)… it’s a difficult puzzle. Lots of pieces, but where do they fit?… |

Rizzo is toast ... he's become a very bad player We have red hot young players in the minors leagues who should get an opportunity |

The line on Cole this afternoon: 4 2/3 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 1 HR, 4 K, 0 BB, 57 P, 44 Strikes.
What a thrill it must have been for Ryan Ritter to take the best pitcher in the game deep. He's listed as the Rox #12 prospect and may be in line for a promotion as the Rockies have just promoted #1 prospect Adael Amador. Amador is a second baseman but the Ritter is the Rox top middle infield prospect behind him and is having a good season at AA.

I've been in favor of keeping the Martian in the minors for as long as we can to get him regular at bats, but this weekend has me wondering - at what point do you look at Stanton and decide he's no longer worth wasting a regular spot in the lineup on? He's a total guess hitter now and any pitcher with a decent breaking ball or off speed pitch makes him look like a fool.
