C'mon You have to throw harder from SS and even harder from 3rd base. You usually dont have to throw 90 mph to a guy that is 10-20 feet away from you Gleyber Arm Strength 2020-20232020 - SS - Max 89.0 MPH / Overall 87.6 MPH 2021 - SS - Max 91.5 MPH / 2B 75.1 MPH / Overall 85.8 MPH 2022 - 2B - Max 84.5 MPH / Overall 79.7 MPH 2023 - 2B - Max 82.0 MPH / Overall 76.0 MPH The arm strength for 2021, when he played both SS/2B, indicate the different speeds thrown from SS/2B during the same year. The arm strength 2022/2023, when he played exclusively 2B, indicate a Max of 84.5 / 82.0, Overall 79.7 / 76.0 baseballsavant.mlb.com/savant-player/gleyber-torres-650402?stats=statcast-r-fielding-mlbI see an alarming drop in average MPH from 2022 to 2023. Why is a guy that young losing 3.7 MPH on average and 2.5 MPH on his max throw? He's lost velocity on average every year since 2020.

Obviously you don't understand the numbers. Probably because, as has been stated earlier in the thread, you're lacking in the IQ dept. Now run along...

If you are of such high iq then perhaps you should explain those numbers rather than be so damned insulting . But that might be too hard from that ivory tower of yours

Then explain why torres is no longer a top ten 2b Between 2022 and 2023, Torres has hit 49 HRs and posted a 120 wRC+, which ranks him in the top three in both metrics for second basemen.

Yet his poor fielding and baserunning keep his WAR down. He's a flawed player and it appears physically he's already declining as his arm strength is giving out. He could be on the Baerga career curve.

Well story’s elbow was done by the time he was 29 and then he got tjs . So anything is possible

Well, we’ve gone from fighting over the subject matter to fighting over fighting. I hope it’s productive… <sarcasm intended>… How’s the ass, Inger? Pretty flexible. In fact I’ve discovered that I can tie it to a tree and walk all the way to Jerusalem. I will admit the water got a bit deep. I haven’t quite mastered the art of walking on it yet… The water, not my ass, silly…

Whatever your problem is...reading comprehension...low IQ...???...I dunno...but I can't help you with whatever your problem is.
