And btw i have had chicago style pizza in chicago . And while i do like it , i still feel ny style pizza is the best hands down . Especially lombardi’s pizza in little italy , best pizza i ever had

Born in the Bronx; grew up on NY style pizza, which I love. But there are different styles of pizza in cities across the country...many delicious. One doesn't have to be "better" than another. When I was selling propane in MD I made a sale to a guy that owned a deli. In time we became friends. He was an unusual fellow in that he carried near to 500 pounds on his 6’ frame. I recalled the first time that I ordered a sandwich at his shop and asked for a small. He laughed and said, “We don’t do anything small here. One size, and that’s large.” Okay. I couldn’t finish the sub I got for lunch. In fact, my then wife ate some of it and I ate the rest. One day he offered to make us a pizza at no charge. When I took the box from him I was stunned at the weight. It was a meat lovers pizza, which I took home for dinner that night. Neither of us could eat more than one slice at a time and I’m ashamed to say we couldn’t finish it. I think two slices went to waste. He was also the guy I got a used deli case from at a later date to house my N scale railroad set (I was separated then, so I put it in the kitchen)… I worked in delis thru my teen years...made a lot of sandwiches, but didn't make pizza. Every part of the country has regional styles and specialties. I love a Nathan's New York Hot Dog, but a Chicago Style Hot Dog is my favorite. |

I think one person, who you claim to have blocked made a comment…We needn’t be all put in a single box… I was directly responding to bomberjoe , he was the one who quoted the person i blocked and agreed with that person . Hence why i said “ you people” . That is how is saw the blocked post since i dont think you can block posts if they are quoted by someone else . But since you seemed to take umbrage with what i said then maybe “ you people “ could pertain to you . Oh, okay. Who’s gives a crap? … |

Inger is one of the nicest and friendliest people I have ever met. If you are getting on his nerves there is a problem. Consider that many people on this forum have had problems with you recently. If you are having issues with multiple people, the problem does not reside with them. It’s on you. Please think about your tone, sarcastic responses, and the way you talk to people. Just my thoughts from your friendly neighborhood moderator. Cheers. |
