Mosqueda is tough on lefties. Three pitches, strikeout.

Mosqueda needs to work on keeping baserunners close. Two stolen bases and man at third.

Good at bat from Dalbec waiting on the fastball against Marinaccio. Dalbec is an acquaintance of my grandson. I always pull for him, as long as it doesn't hurt the Yanks. Would like to see him stick with someone. Cool!

It's Gleyber Day! 4-2 Yankees. Centerfield home run is a good sign for Torres.

Sudden thought:
If I got a chance to play in spring training, I’d request number 0.7…

So I'm watching a replay of today's game and no one mentioned Stanton scored easily from 2nd base on Volpe's double! (I'm desperately looking for good news on what's been a rough spring training for the Yanks)

good games for gleyber & rizzo. volpe having a solid spring as he continues to work on flattening his swing. stanton has looked better lately. now getting some results. 4 for last 9 w 2 doubles. also running the bases better :-). not totally sold yet but fwiw rodon looked the best he's looked this spring.

On the downside he was behind Rizzo, who isn’t much faster… or maybe now that’s, was faster… j Statcast lists Sandy Leon at #583 and dead last in sprint speed in MLB. The Yankees slowest at #567 is Stanton and Rizzo blazes in at #559. These were the ratings from 2023, and players with minimal playing time were disregarded. Florial was our fastest at #35, followed by Oswald Peraza at #93. Volpe was #131 and Jasson #145. Pereira #205 and Oswaldo #222. baseballsavant.mlb.com/sprint_speed_leaderboard

Wells is #389, as they say fast…. For a catcher..,
