I want Gil in our bullpen and making occasional starts this season. If he gets enough starts we can build his arm up enough to make him a full time starter in 2025…

I want Gil in our bullpen and making occasional starts this season. If he gets enough starts we can build his arm up enough to make him a full time starter in 2025… an impressive performance against most of the toronto's A line-up. he comes out for the 4th, so they are stretching him out. and yeah see him more as a swing guy. ultimately the team's needs will decide it. always had good stuff. maybe he puts it together this season.
takeaways - volpe continues to have success w his "level" swing - 2 more hits to right. if he keeps this up, maybe we have a real lead-off hitter. stanton crushes one for his 1st of the season. 5 for last 11 w a hr and 2 doubles.

I'm a big fan of Gil's. I hope that he can continue to pitch well, and be in the Yankees starting rotation someday. Yep, that sure was a very impressive performance. |

I've seen a lot of projections that have Marinaccio in the pen but I could see him as odd man out. |
