Remember on the play at 1st, it's ball entering mitt, not ball hits back of glove. Which I think is really dumb. The ball should have to be officially caught, Thump! In the mitt… Agree, that's the way it always was, and should be considering slow-mo replay from multiple angles. Cabrera walks. Fb at the top of the zone, popped high on the infield, Singleton is called off and Altuve drops, but gets the bounce and throws out Cabrera for the force. Both Altuve and Singleton lost it in the roof, I think

Soto’s mannerisms and low crouch remind me of Rickey Henderson…

Good sequencing. Change with same look misses low, Soto reads it right. 2-0. Diaz sits up and in, and France misses outer half, but Soto swings through it. 2-1 Soto gets the call on the 2-1 FB near the corner inside, 2-1 FB away, knocked through the 56 hole to left for a hit, Torres reads it right and gets to 3rd with 1 out
=================
You know, guys, it might be only one season with Soto, but I'm gonna enjoy every doggone at bat.

Soto’s mannerisms and low crouch remind me of Rickey Henderson… Right on the money. Not exactly the same but very close.

Change clips the inside corner to Judge, 0-1 Cutter just low, doesn't get the Judge-only strike call, 1-1 Change lower than the cutter, ball 2. Fb in jams Judge enough to keep it in the park, but the deep fly to center scores Torres, 3-1 Yanks. Good job, Judge. Baby steps.

Both Altuve and Singleton lost it in the roof, I think Yes, and as an umpire you could watch the foot and listen for the mitt to get the call right. You can’t see both at once…I suppose they listen for the foot fall now…and with offense struggling for base runners, why make it harder to reach base?…

For some reason I thought today's game was an ESPN 7PM game. Just turn on the TV to see Berti delivered an RBI Sweet
