Change low/away in the zone, Walker tries to pull, chops it to Volpe's right, he backhands, sets and throws him out, 2 down

Just misses low with a slider outer half, 2-2
FB misses inside by 2 inches, but Nestor gets a break on the call. Suarez ꓘ's, inning over.
Top 6, 3-0 D'backs. 8 pitch 1-2-3 for Nestor and he's now even with Gallen at 78 pitches
Top of the order for the Yanks in the 6th. 3rd time seeing Gallen so maybe they can do something with him

Nestor gets a favorable strike three call to end the fifth. He's at 82 pitches. One more good inning, and he has a quality start.

Just got back from Devil's game. Nestor is done. He had that one great year and that's it. Hope I'm wrong but are we going to play the waiting game again to hope he gets the magic back?

FB up in the zone, hit hard to the right of 2nd, Marte lunges to his backhand to grab it, throws low to Walker and it gets away, but it's an out anyway because Marte didn't realize he caught the liner on the fly, 1 down
