Sounds amazing. I want to visit Hawaii one day. Our recent trip was last December to Oahu and the big island. We hiked into a lava tube, it was intimidating. We also went to the highest peak (Mauna Kea) in Hilo to the observation telescope to watch the sunset. Second highest peak on earth. It was freezing /windy and covered with snow. Along with shorts and tee shirts, we took ski parka and hiking boots. Awesomel! If I ever go I will ask you for recommendations!

Trails can be can be slippery/uneven. If you like an adventure, this is it. Our vacations are structured on hiking. We went to Costa Rica, hiking in the rain forest got lost and was met with armed soldiers. Apparently we accidentally crossed the border into Nicaragua and didn't carried our passports. Luckily we screen shot it on our cellphones. We quickly turned around . It was a scary event as none of us spoke Spanish. All we heard was shouts of Nicaragua and passports.

When Krispy Kreme open their first store in Denver there was a line around the block...for a donut. Around the year 2000. It was insane, and after they put the doughnuts in stores and I bought a box I found they weren’t all that good. When Popeye’s came out with that breaded chicken sandwich I waited until the lines subsided and decided to get one for lunch. The girl at the counter told me they only served them from 3:00-6:00 or something like that and asked what I’d like to have instead. Nothing. Bye-bye. Besides, most of the people I see in your kitchen look like they probably slept begging the Home Depot next door anyway. Lost my appetite. I never did get one… Patience is not one of my virtues…I get antsy waiting a few minutes in a drive-thru line. I recall a “free sandwich” promotion a fast-food joint (I believe KFC) ran if Team A scored X runs…which it did. People waited in long lines for over an hour for a “free sandwich”. Really???

I gotta say that I don't get the In N Out love. The burgers are so thin there is no way to cook them other than well done. The fries are amongst the worst I have had. I just don't understand why people line up for such mediocre food. Do you enjoy Shake Shack? Not sure there is one near me. I don't do fast food alot. I do like Fuddruckers but not sure if that is a chain. I think Five Guys are better than In N Out, but sounds like I'm in the minority on this one. Last time I went to In N Out was after Coaching a golf event that ended late. Didn't feel like cooking. I waited over 30 minutes for my foor and the burger was average at best. The fries were ice cold and I just left them on the table.

I don't get it... I go inside. Quick service in there, and I usually eat out doors if the weather is good. The only thing that sometimes turns me off is the occasionally creepy religious vibe… Like they’re robots, the Stepford Wives of fast food…
