1-0 splitter in the dirt, the ball gets away, and Wells reads it when and just beats the throw back to Gausman, 5-0 Yanks.

Soto gets a green light on 3-0, and gets a MEATBALL, a FB at 90.4 close to the middle of the zone, and he hammers it into right for a hit, Cabera scores from 2nd, 6-0, and Gausman is done for the night.
And unless I miss by guess, that's Gausman's last pitch for a while. His stuff was so bad tonight, he must still be hurting.

Wild pitch. Wells scores! 5-0 Yanks. They call it a passed ball. You're right; they did. I assumed it was a wild pitch.

Mitch White in to face Judge and Rizzo, at least. Slider on the outside corner, Judge hits it off the end of the bat the other way, lined to right for a hit. Soto stops at 2nd with 1 out. Broke his bat, too.

FB above middle, lined to Clement's right, but he backhands and catches Soto too far off 2nd for an inning ending 4-6 line drive DP. Oooh, don't hurt that hamstring stretching like that on a cold night, Juan.
Top 3, 6-0 Yanks. Schmidt was on the bench a long time, and has to face Kiermeier, then Springer and Guerrero at the top of the order.

Hope you are having fun on the shore! Thanks...it's still a bit brisk down here! UhOh… time for the weather report from Mosca, Co as Gleyber almost gets one… And now a wild pitch… 5-0… We failed to reach our predicted high of 46 today due to a sand storm and mostly cloudy skies…only 39 degrees for the high, now down to 36 with a 24 degree wind chill driven by 25 MPH winds and gusts in the 40’s Soto singles, 6-0. AQI 61 due to the blowing sand. Visibility at 23 miles, but not over at the Sand Dunes. Our mountain view is obscured by the sand over there. The humidity is a high 29 percent and the few point is a ridiculous 7 degrees…
