Berti FB thigh high outside corner, 0-1 FB high, 1-1 Slider well down and in, 2-1 Takes a FB at the top, 2-2 Flies open and misses 10-12 inches high, 3-2 Verdugo on the move... FB overthrown high, ball 4. Back to back walks clear the #9 slot at the least

Wells: Slider near middle fouled off. Slider just outside near the bottom of the zone, slapped up the middle, Anderson fields, throws out Wells, inning over.
Top 5, 1-0 Yanks.
21 pitches in the 4th, 75 through 4 for Puk.
Garcia, Rivera and Bethancourt for the Yanks

Divergent thoughts...
Yanks keeping the Marlins in the game and the longer they leave them that way, the more likely the Marlins are to steal this one. On the other hand, if Rodon gets through the bottom of the order unscathed, Yanks have a solid chance to break it open vs. Puk in the 5th, 75 pitches already and 3rd time through against the top of the order.

Garcia
Cutter hits the top outside corner, 0-1 Fouls off a FB down the middle, 0-2 Fouls off the FB up and away in the zone Wells whiffs on a slider inside, and The home ump takes one that "rings the bell".
FB inner 3rd jams him a bit, but the flare is just out of Torres' reach; leadoff single for Garcia

Scripted and choreographed, the participants are amazing athletes, or just huge people that are impressive to just see, like a side show in the circus. I’m amused by someone talking about “achieving” the title. He might have had to spend some “special time” with owner Vince McMahon to make that achievement… Kurt Angle and I were in the same graduating class at Clarion University and he was an amazing amateur wrestler and an Olympian who later became like a cartoon character with the fake stuff. That’s exactly what Vince, Jr. Did to the product. Wrestlers that died and came back to life. The unfortunate death when he decided it would be neat if one of them could fly. The father had a product that at least resembled reality…even then of course it was faked…

Double play induced by Rodon to erase the runner. Now a popup to end the inning.

Cutter misses high, 1-0 to Rivera Cutter inside, 2-0 Gets away with a FB just above middle middle, Rivera is late and fouls it off. 2-1 Cutter at the knees, hit sharply to 3rd, Berti plays the somewhat hard hop perfectly, starts a 5-4-3 DP, 2 down.
Bethancourt pops up a first pitch FB just above middle to Rizzo to end the inning.
10 pitches for Rodon in the 5th, 68 through 5. Rodon having his best game of the year by far, at least so far, but discounted somewhat because of who he's pitching against. Still, better than struggling a 3rd straight game.
Top of the order for the Yanks in the 5th.
