Cutter up in the zone, hit sharply toward Rizzo, who misplays it, lifts the glove before the ball got there, should've been at least a 3-5 force, but will be an E-3. Runners at 1st and 2nd, nobody out for Anderson.

He walked Bell leading off with a 3 run lead, Kay. That's on him
Anderson takes a strike. Cutter inside, Anderson chases and fouls it down. 0-2 FB misses up and in at 96 Following the Cole plan; saving his best FBs for tough spots Cutter down and in on the corner, spoiled.
Someone was throwing in the Yankees pen, but I didn't see who.
Hardest FB of the night at 97, but he flies open, misses well high Slider below the zone, hit down 3rd, Berti slides to his backhand, knocks it down, but winds up with no play. Should be and infield hit.

Berti could have beat Bell to third base if he gloved it properly. Bad luck for Rodon. Not a bad outing. But he leaves the bases loaded, no outs for Ian Hamilton.

Rodon doesn't quite have the "Cole thing" down yet. It's not enough to save something for a key spot. Even after 80 pitches, it does no good to hump up 2-3 mph if you don't command it.
Work in progress. If the plan works, he'll be a complete pitcher for the first time in his career, and if a lefty sits at 93-5, that's good enough.

Rodon must be hungry. I lip-read him asking for a fork after Boone took the ball away. I don’t blame him. I have wanted to stay in too…

Hamilton into the game on two days rest. Sanchez pinch hits for Garcia Gets a favorable call on a slider that missed just low and away, 0-1 Sinker low, and Sanchez fouls it off, 0-2 Slider low, slow roller to Rizzo who's playing back, his flip to Hamilton is just in time as Hamilton was slow getting over Run scores, other runners to 2nd and 3rd with 1 out, 3-1 Yanks
