Chases a slider inside, fouls it, 2-1
Sinker low, Volpe charges hard to take the hop before it can bounce again, throws on the move and low, but Rizzo catches to end the inning.

Well, that's not exactly atonement, but it's close enough.
Rizzo pulls the first pitch through the right side for a leadoff single
Nardi came in to start the 7th.
Volpe takes a FB up and in.

Nardi is a 3 pitch lefty: FB at 94-5 a little more than half the time
Fouls back another high FB
Then rolls over on a FB up and in, grounded to Anderson they get the force at 2nd, but Volpe beats the relay.
2nd pitch is an 83 slider he throws about 43%
3rd pitch is a 92 change he throws about once every other inning

Runners have stolen only 1 base off of Nardi in his career, and been caught twice

Berti takes a FB high, and Bethancourt throws behind Volpe, who gets back.
FB barely misses up and away, 2-1
Waist high FB outer half, but Berti fouls it off.
Nardi off to a terrible start: came in with a 16.62 ERA 10 hits and 8 ER in 4 1/3 innings
Fouls off another FB
FB in a hittable start and Berti hits it well, but the fliner goes right to de la Cruz to end the inning.
Top 8, 3-2 Yanks.
14 pitches for Nardi that inning.
