You can't challenge a challenge. The Guardians already challenged the original safe call. I thought both teams could challenge on the same play. Boone would've have challenged the original safe call. "Both managers may challenge different reviewable calls"

Torres, Verdugo and Cabrera for the Yanks in the 4th.
Torres gets a bad call on a 0-1 FB wiast high, about 2 inches outside.
But then he turns on a slider that was supposed to be away, but backs completely across the plate and Torres turns on it, even though it's 4-6 inches off the plate inside and lines it to left for a single.

Verdugo gets an 0-1 sinker inside 3rd and inside outs it down the line at 3rd, it trails off into the fence angling out, Verdugo gets a cheap double, with Torres getting to 3rd, nobody out.
Infield in for Cabrera, the 1-1 is that same change Carrasco's thrown 5-6 times just below the zone, outer half, and half of them have been balls, half of them strikes.

Time to get my yard work done so I can watch most of this one. Phew...just finalized my tax returns. As I needed to cut a huge check thus the reason for late transmission. Now I can tune into TV to enjoy the game. |

Patiently works the count to 3-2 and Carrasco finally changes eye level, gets him to chase the change moving outside at the top of the zone.
Nelson keeps calling his change a FB when he throws it up in the zone.

Hard contact on that one, but it was a change that made Trevino pull it foul.
Slider on the corner away, fouled.
If I'm Carrasco, I risk the walk and throw the same slider lower and further outside.
