Sinker just inside middle on the first pitch to Gimenez, he hits an easy fly to Verdugo, moves a couple of steps toward the line and catches, 2 down.

Quickly 2-0 on Ramirez.
sinker misses outside at the top, Wells tries to steal it, can't make the sale.
FB waist high outside corner, 3-1
Sinker on the outside corner, Ramirez turns on it, but grounds it to Torres, who takes it on his glove side and throws out Ramirez, inning over.
1-2-3 inning on just 9 pitches, but not impressed with the stuff or location of the stuff. Not yet, anyway.
Maybe he'll settle down and pitch better.
Cabrera, Wells and Volpe for the Yanks in the 2nd.

0-1 curve low in the zone, popped foul behind 3rd, Arias goes back near the tarp and catches, 2 fast outs in the 2nd for McKenzie.
Yanks may have let him off the hook.

FB up and in, hit to deep right center, Florial and Laureano both go for it, Florial backhands it as Laureano slides into his feet, knocking down, but he holds the ball for the 3rd out. Excellent play by Florial, keeping his concentration even after Laureano bumped him low.
Yanks go quietly, 1-2-3 on just 9 pitches, 39 through 2 for McKenzie.

Gets ahead of Laureano 0-2, then gets a poor call on a FB at the bottom near middle, Wells had to turn the glove over to catch it, and blew the call for strike 3.
2-2 on Laureano now. The 0-2 was about 30% on Gameday.
3-2 sinker above the waist, a couple of inches off the plate inside, lined to Cabrera at 3rd. Relatively easy play, wasn't hit all that hard. 2 down.
