Trevino looking more and more like a career back-up, defensive catcher at the plate. That first half of his first season with the Yankees fooled everyone.

On 0-2 to Gimenez, Nestor hesitates, showboats, fakes a pitch then misses for ball 1.
Slider well outside topped to the right side, Rizzo goes way over, fumbles it, Nestor late getting over anyway, goes as another Rizzo error.
Rizzo should've left that one for Gleyber and covered 1st himself.
If nothing else the Guardians clear the pitcher this inning.

Getting worried about Rizzo. Rizzo has an occasional brain freeze of going too far toward second. That was a routine play for Gleyber. |
