Stanton is a disgrace to athletes ... He's definitely the slowest player in the MLB. Literally jogs ... I think it somehow confused the catcher
The Catcher could have dropped it twice and picked it up and still tagged Stanton out

OK, Rodon, get it together here.
Jansen leads off the 2nd... Rushes and flies open, leaves the FB outside, 1-0 Cutter well high, 2-0. Blows a FB by him just above middle at 93, 2-1 FB near middle, foul tipped into the mitt, 2-2 FB outside middle fouled back over the screen. Another long at bat for Rodon. Bounces a back leg curve, 3-2. FB at the top fouled back. 8th pitch coming.

FB misses outside by 2 inches or so, Rodon gets a huge break on the call, or maybe Trevino saved it. ꓘ, 1 down.
Clement fouls off a FB, then pops the change up and away to Soto in right, 2 down. BIG 2 pitch out there.

FB at the knees strike 1. Change clips the outside corner, strike 2 Finishes him fast with the back leg slider
Falefa turns in a 3 pitch K, turning what could've been a long 2nd inning into a short one. 13 pitch 1-2-3 and 45 through 2 for Rodon.
Top of the order for the Yanks in the 3rd: Volpe, Soto, Judge.

dominant bounceback inning for rodon Welllll...Jansen worked him, and he got lucky on the strike 3 call, but otherwise, yeah. I doubt he'd have done well if that 3-2 call went against him.

I'm still shaking my head on him scoring on that play.

FB up and away to Volpe, 1-0 Bends the curve into the zone waist high, inner 3rd, 1-1 Curve stays waist high outer 3rd, but Volpe misses, fouls it off, 1-2 Volpe fooled by location, guesses slider or curve down and in, blows the FB by him, ꓘ, 1 down.

FB up and away to Judge, 1-0 Swings over a curve disappearing down and in, 1-1 FB clips the inside corner at 97, 1-2, same pitch he just ꓘ'd Volpe with. Nice pitch sequencing throws a cutter diving just inside, 2-2. Kikuchi thinks it's strike 3, starts walking off Judge chases a curve well below the knees for strike 3, inning over.
Another dominant 1-2-3 for Kikucki against the "elte" top of the order. 11 pitch 1-2-3 with 2 K's.
Bottom 3, 1-0 Yanks. Varsho, Springer and Guerrero for the Jays.
