How great would it be if doctors recommended a pint of ice cream before bed, and it really was good for you? Didn’t make you fat, or gassy, raise your blood sugar. “No Timmy. You may not get your ice cream and go to bed yet.” “But Ma!”… I content that ice cream is good for you. Doesn't make me gassy; doesn't raise my blood sugar; always makes me happy. Three out of four ain't bad. My sugar launches into outer space. We went out to eat the other night and we split some fried ice cream. I only ate about 1/3 of it… |

Three out of four ain't bad. Ice cream is one of my favorite pleasures. I was going to say guilty pleasure but I don't feel guilty. You can never go wrong with ice cream! I order it once a week on Uber Eats and its far away so it costs me like 30 bucks with the big tip I have to give but I don't mind at all. Best money I spend during the week! |

haven't seen the last 2 and probably miss today as well ...
looks like another great start by nestor. but the offense was M.I.A. yet again. been a trend during this little 4-5 skid. over the last 5 games - 30 hits which breaks down to 6/game and that includes one where we got 11.
soto needs a little help. both judge & volpe 2-20 over the last 5 w judge K'ing an ugly 12 times. wells isn't even on the interstate. torres living there. after lowering his k rate to 14% last season, he's at 25% this year. clearly pressing and swinging out of his shoes. rizzo only showing warning track power.
pitching continues to be mostly solid but have to wonder if they can keep it up. hoping for a breakout today.

Jeez ... Every team in the AL East playing .545 ball or better as usual the toughest division. as good as our record is, only one game up on the O's and only 2.5 games separation from 1st to last. can't slack off ...
braves have the best record and the guardians of all teams next. surprisingly, despite trading their ace corbin burnes, the brewers are right up there. surprisingly as well is that the dodgers, who everyone figured would away w it are languishing at 12-11.

Jeez ... Every team in the AL East playing .545 ball or better Red Sox are the biggest surprise so far. Didn't think they would be very good and they still might fade. |

I'm not a fan of any Yankee getting booed by Yankee fans unless the player is lazy and just going through the motions. Judge give 100%. Some Yankee fans are booing 1 of the best players in MLB, that's likely to have his number retired someday.
My question to the Yankee fans that are booing Judge is...What kind of message are you sending to a player that's going to be a free agent named Juan Soto?
I wonder what Soto is thinking when he hears 1 of the best players in MLB get booed by his home fans.
I wish that more fans would realize that they are in the stands booing, because many of them aren't talented enough to be on the field playing.  |

The booing of Judge doesn't help, but I think Soto will re-sign with the Yankees because I expect the Yankees to make Soto a great offer. In my opinion, I think the only way Soto doesn't re-sign with the Yankee is if the Mets make him a ridiculous offer. |
