Verdugo guesses a get it over strike and Civale obliges hanging a splitter just outside middle, Verdugo jump on it, lines it to right for a 2 run single, Yanks take a 3-1 lead!!!
Big hit for Verdguo, Hugh!!

Civale puts himself back on the ropes. Is it rope-a-dope?
No, Verdugo lands solid left to the chin…
Trevino keeps the flurry going with a straight right hand, Cabrera finishes off the TKO…

Surprised he left Civale in to pitch to verdugo, seemed to be really struggling.

Hanging cutter on the outside cutter, Trevino goes with it up the middle for a single, scoring Torrrs, Verdugo to 2nd, 4-1 Yanks!!!
And Cabrera jumps on the first pitch, gets a cutter above the zone, jammed him a bit, but he muscles it to right center for a RBI single, Verdugo scores and Trevino to 3rd, 5-1 Yanks!!!
Cash finally comes to pull Civale. Rarely see Cash get beaten on in-game decisions, but he left in Civale two batters too long, partly because he didn't get Maton up after the 2nd walk.
