Change hit hard back to Gonzalez, he deflects it toward first, scrambles after it, barehands, and flips underhand just in time to get Ramirez, who slid into 1st for no good reason.
Yanks hang on by their fingernails, AGAIN, and win 5-4, to take the series from the Jays.

Yanks win 5-4, take the series from the Rays, and get back to 8 games over .500 at 15-7.
Red Sox up 6-1 in the 8th in Pittsburgh, as the Pirates turn back into a pumpkin after their 9-2 start.
O's shutting out the Royals in KC, 4-0 in the 6th.
Jays down 1-0 in the 1st in San Diego.
If those scores hold, Yanks will still be in first by 1/2 game on the O's, 2 1/2 on the Sox, 3 on the Jays and 3 1/2 on the Rays.

3rd star of the game: Gonzalez for knocking the save in on his knees with a terrific play to end it.
2nd star: Verudgo with the big 2 run single to break the tie and give the Yanks the lead.
1st star: Gil for managing his command well enough to make through 5 2/3 innings with just one unearned run allowed.
