Don’t want to jinx Marinaccio, but he’s looked more like ‘22 version that ‘24 so far in his limited action… maybe he can re-earn set up status…

Ferguson? Ferguson on two days' rest, so it's his turn. Bad slider winds up middle middle, but Ruiz fouls it back. FB up and away popped foul off of 3rd, Cabrera goes near the stands, catches, 1 down. Marinaccio out, Ferguson in with 1 out, man on 1st, and Noda due up.

Ferguson? Good pitcher, bad start. Don’t pull that flush handle, yet…

A's should PH here, Noda is a lefty who's never faced Ferguson.

Does everyone get the same commercials? I’m seldom entertained by them, but the Progressive commercial where they discuss hierarchy makes me laugh every time.
Jamie: That’s funny because I’m not boss material.”…

Cutter down and in, 1-2
Rangers up 4-2 after two, Caps feel further behind, but did better in shots, now down just 19-16 after two periods.
Tapper to the left of the mound, Volpe charges and fields, nearly skids out, so he turns and flips to Torres for the force. Two down Rooker up, he's 1-1 vs. Ferguson.

Cutter forced down and in, 2-2. He's not chasing that one, Caleb. Fat Fb down the middle thigh high, and Rooker barely misses late and under flies out to fairly deep right. Soto catches, inning over. Ferguson pretty lucky on those two fat fastballs, one taken, one barely missed.
Bottom 7, 4-3 Yanks. Ferguson threw 9 pitches getting out of the 7th.
Torres, Verdugo and Cabrera for the Yanks in their half.

Guardians added two more in the 8th, beat the Red Sox 4-1. Rays got that 2 run HR from Paredes in the 6th to take a 2-1 lead on the Tigers, but Detroit got back to back HR, a 2 run shot by Riley Greene and a solo HR from Canha, and lead 4-2 top 9. Jays got a run in the 3rd and lead the Royals 1-0 in the 5th.

Don’t want to jinx Marinaccio, but he’s looked more like ‘22 version that ‘24 so far in his limited action… maybe he can re-earn set up status… His command is now decent where last year it was totally missing, but the FB has lost 2-3 mph. Not sure he can survive for long like that unless he can make good use of both his slider and his change.

Veteran lefty TJ McFarland in for the A's 1-1 on Torres.
Fouls off a sinker outside, 1-2 Chases a bad change about 4-5 inches outside, rolls it over to short, thrown out, 1 down.

McFarland one of the few A's Reliever not pitching well so far. ERA of 5.40 in 8 1/3 innings with 12 hits and just 5 K's. 1=1 to Verdugo is hit back to McFarland for the 2nd out.

Alexandria Nieves…
I from an area with a comparatively large Hispanic community, as well as quite a few folks with Native American Heritage. Another block that is over-represented here, but to a lesser degree is the members of the Church of Latter Day Saints.
What a bunch of nice people, all three. In fact I’ll quote Joe Rogan on the LFS folks. He said “They are without a doubt the kindest (censored) you’ll ever meet…
I don’t go for that religion, but they certainly do believe in treating others well, and I champion that…
