you are quite the "multi-tasker!" He’s also doing all this from his toilet… he’s incredibly dedicated to his task… Kwik da’ man!… I have a fridge, a microwave and George Foreman grill in there too. Making dinner while all this is going on.

Marinaccio into the game to face Turang Ortiz and Chourio. Marinaccio working on two days' rest Grounds the first pitch to Torres on the right of 2nd, throws out Turang, but Sanchez to 3rd with 1 out, and Boone has to pull the infield in for Ortiz.

In the off season the players were asked for ways to improve the team. We know they asked for less emphasis on rest days, and a more consistent line up. I wonder if they also suggest not pulling the starter at 4.2 innings? Or at 65 pitches? Boone is showing more patience with Schmidt and Gil than I believe he e we pile have in past seadons…

Gil was lucky to go 5 but Boone brings him back for another hitter in the 6th. And he’s to be congratulated for keeping his cool and recovering…

Slider for a strike, inner 3rd. FB outside, 1-1 on Ortiz. Ortiz has never faced Marinaccio before. Change thigh high off the plate inside, lifted to medium left center, easy play for Verdugo, but his throw home is not nearly in time, game tied at 5.

2 down, Chourio up. Slider outside, chases a poorly located slider high above the inner 3rd, was supposed to be away. FB at the knees down and in, 1-2 Sweeper way low and away, no chase, 2-2 Can't check on the change low, home plate ump rings him up for the K, inning over. Chourio should be back in AAA, and if this keeps up for a few more games, he will be.
Top 7, tied at 5. Hoby Milner a good junkballing middle reliever, comes in to face Wells or a PH, Grisham or a PH, and Volpe Thing is, if you go to the righties now for Wells and Grisham, you'll be backed into the corner when the Brewers go to their top righties in the pen later on. Uribe, Megill and Payamps.
Boone pushes the button, PH Trevino for Wells

Making dinner while all this is going on. I used to work with a lady who said that when she was at home with her parents, her older brother would himself sandwiches and take a desert into the bathroom with him and it was known he’d be in there for ip to two hours. I can’t imagine eating my lunch while on the toilet disposing of yesterday’s lunch… Mmmm, chocolate ice cream for desert…

3 pitch lefty, FB tops out in the upper 80's, his sidearm motion makes it tough to read. FB up, 1-2 on Trevino.

Fouls off a slider, then gets a sinker down the middle and pops it to Chourio in shortish right center, 1 down. Grisham stays in the game.

0-2 quickly on Grisham, who 1-2 vs. Milner with a double. Slider low, 1-2 Slider near bottom fouled Takes a sinker on the outside corner, guessing slider by count and location, guesses wrong, and it's a ꓘ, 2 down.

Volpe takes a back door slider outside Check swing foul on another in the zone low/away Sinker inside corner, 1-2. FB up and away, 2-2 Fb misses inside, 3-2, Contreras and Milner stiffened up a bit, thinking it was strike 3, but it wasn't. Slider below middle is ball 4, but Volpe chases and flies out to Perkins to end the inning.
Bottom 7, tied at 5. Top of the order for the Brewers in the 7th, Frelick, Contreras and Adames. Marinaccio stays in, having thrown just 9 pitches in relief of Gil in the 6th.
