Hoby Milner got his first MLB decision, a win, in his 96th career appearance in his sixth MLB season…
This has been in the Trivia thread in the past, but it’s a good time to reprise it…

2-1 on Frelick leading off. Flies open, misses up and away, ball 3. FB outside corner, fly down the left side slices foul, 3-2 FB just above middle middle and 94, Frelick tries to inside out it, but his liner goes to Volpe, who takes a step to his right and backhands it for the first out. Santana coming in to face Contreras and Adames, at least.

Neither Contreras nor Adames have faced Santana before. Trevino's 5th CS of the season was Bo's brother Josh in the last game in Cleveland. His 6th was Justin Turner in the 5-4 loss in Toronto on the 16th.

He’s also doing all this from his toilet… he’s incredibly dedicated to his task… Kwik da’ man!… I have a fridge, a microwave and George Foreman grill in there too. Making dinner while all this is going on.

Hangs a cuter in the zone up and in, rips it into the left field corner, it sticks there, and Contreras has an easy double with 1 down. Adames up.

FB pitch waist high sinker on the inside corner at 94 ties Adames up a bit, and his high fly to left stays in the park for Verdugo, 2 down, and Contreras holds 2nd.
Hoskins is 1-1 vs. Santana a single, but a single is all the Brewers need here.

Trevino's 7th and final CS was actually a pick off caught stealing by Rodon of Esteury Ruiz in the first game of the A's series.
Hoskins takes a slider outside, then a sinker on the outside corner, 1-1 Ooog, dangerous pitch a sinker waist high, inside corner and he pulls it foul off 3rd.
Yanks the FB low, 2-2.

Gets him to wave at a slider diving low and away over the plate outside corner for the K.
P.S. The Trevino caught stealing report is over; the 7 listed CS are really 5 with tow pickoff caught stealing, and most of the five he caught are slow guys like Fortes, the two Naylors and Justin Turner.
Top 8, tied at 5.
Soto, Judge and Rizzo for the Yanks, Maybe Uribe or Megill or Peguero for the Brewers.

Could be Bryan Hudson, too, I suppose.

A's beat O's Miller blows them away in the 10th Maybe these A’s are a bit better than we thought. They started out 1-7 and they’ve been around .500 since then…
