It should have been: "“It IS definitely a battle out there EVERY NIGHT,” Gil said through an interpreter.

Well, at the beginning of the season I predicted that this was aan 88 win, fringe playoff team. Still feels about right.

Missed this one, perhaps fortunately. Boone is best when the choices are limited. My buddy and I traveled to Lafayette, Louisiana this weekend to attend the La Louisiane Music Festival and get some crawfish while they’re still in season. Good to get out of Dodge for a while. |

My buddy and I traveled to Lafayette, Louisiana this weekend to attend the La Louisiane Music Festival and get some crawfish while they’re still in season. Good to get out of Dodge for a while. Kind of a take off on crawfish pie. |

Rizz, how were the beignets? Hey 55, Beignets are more of a New Orleans thing. What you can get here are crawfish beignets. Beignet pastry with crawfish etouffee inside. Kind of a take off on crawfish pie. There is a resaurant near me that has NO cuisine. They have beignets on Sunday only. Been meaning to try them but haven't yet. Suspect they will not hold up to the NO ones. |

It seems a lot worse with the way Judge and Torres are struggling at the plate. That's a big part of it, but this team needs to stop going 5-6 innings at a time where the whole lineup goes to sleep. Too many times lately we see them get a couple of early runs then doze off as the other team mounts a comeback. This has been the hallmark of this team for sometime now. I've also been dissapointed with the lack of defense. I thought this would be a pretty good defensive team but they haven't been. Not just the errors but the plays they should be making that they aren't. |

Somehow, those outside New Orleans have the tendency to be too thick and not airy and light. |
