Yankees don't deserve to win this one. Ahhh, but they did deserve to win it, lauren. Boone has to let Holmes throw the 2nd inning tonight and lock this one up. If he's going to concede a game, it can't be this one, it has to be tomorrow's game. |

After a great start, feels like we're crashing back to earth... It seems a lot worse with the way Judge and Torres are struggling at the plate. That's a big part of it, but this team needs to stop going 5-6 innings at a time where the whole lineup goes to sleep. Too many times lately we see them get a couple of early runs then doze off as the other team mounts a comeback. |

OK, Yanks blow the game 3 times to the Brewers and are set up for a series loss and possible sweep against them, 7-6 in 11 innings.
Yanks fall back to 7 over .500 at 17-10, and blow a chance to gain on the entire division, who all also lost. Well, at least they don't lose any ground to anyone. Still in a virtual tie with the O's, percentage points back, 2 games up on the Sox and 4 up on the Rays and Jays.
Game 2 is tomorrow evening at 8:10 on YES. Rodon for the Yanks, Joe Ross for the Brewers.
Too tired and disgusted to comment any further, so I'll just say that's it for me for tonight.
Good night to all of you, if anyone can have a good night after this mismanaged fiasco.

I'm worried about Hamilton. I know the Yankees are using caution with him but he threw 11 pitches on Wednesday in a game the Yankees lead by 4 runs and couldn't pitch tonight. That's not good.
