have we thrown out a runner this year? Wells is now 1 for 11, but Trevino is 7 for 19 throwing out runners. I can't remember any, but it's right there in baseball reference. Slider low, 1-0 Slider inside, 2-0 21 pitches so far this innings and 80 for the game so far. Change low in the zone swung over, 2-1 Slider low, 3-1. danger, danger, Wil Robinoson, warning warning!!! |

FB outside corner makes it 3-2 on Contreras.
Has him just a bit out front on a change right down the middle, soft bouncer to Cabrera, he charges and throws high, but Rizzo stays on the bag, inning over.
Top 5, 5-4 Yanks.
22 pitches for Gil in the 4th, and 81 through 4. If he makes it through 5, it'll be just barely.
Soto, Judge and Rizzo for the Yanks in the 5th.

3-1 Rangers, 6:14 left in the 3rd. Rangers have 0 shots on goal in this period so far.
They only need one, an empty netter when the Caps pull their goalie with 2 to 2 1/2 minutes left.

Trevino CS #2 is NOT a CS for Trevino. Victor Gonzalez picked Jake MccCarthy and he was thrown out trying for 2nd. I don't know why that goes in the stats as a catcher CS.
Rangers get a Power play with 3:30 left in the 3rd.
