If only Boone wasn't a moron and we won yesterday. We'd be feeling pretty good.

Brewer's bp is far from stellar tonight. Middle relief is almost always the soft underbelly… Viera WAS having a pretty good season before getting beat up tonight. 3.08 ERA in 11+ innings with a 3 inning save and just 5 hits and 1 HR allowed, albeit with 8 BB Was. 1-1 on Cabrea. Sinker down and in at 96, 2-1 Pulled foul, 2-2 FB away lofted toward the corner in left, but it slices foul. Good thing, because Wiemer would've gotten to it if it stayed fair.

Alright time to eat a late dinner and fold some laundry. I'll be back. See ya later, kaybli. Sinker above middle, but Cabrera misses under, pops to shortish right, Chourio comes in a catches, runners hold, 2 down. Back to the top of the order and Volpe.

Volpe takes a sinker low then another that might have brushed the very bottom of the zone, 2-0 Sinker bounced Viera obviously laboring, sinker down to 95, it was 98-100 earlier Sinker inner 3rd for a get it over strike, 3-1 Sinker is inside by 2-3 inches but again Volpe pulls off it, is late and under, fouls off ball 4. 3-2 Sinker waist high inside corner, and again, Volpe opens up, and again late and under, pops to Hoskins at 1st, innings over.
This isn't a mistake, gang. Volpe earning this bad slump by forgetting what he was doing the first 2-3 weeks of the season and going back to his bad ways from last season.
Bottom 6, Yanks add four more, lead the Brewers 11-1. Rodon on the bench a long time that inning. Viera threw 46 pitches. 2-3-4 for the Brewers, Contreras, Adames and Hoskins.

1-2 on Contreras. Swings over a FB below the knees, inside corner at 97, 1 down.

Rodon on a roll tonight. Pitching with efficiency.

This is more like the White Sox/Giants Rodon.

This is more like the White Sox/Giants Rodon. Exactly. FB velo not quite all the way back, but 96-7 for a lefty is good enough. 2-0 on Hoskins is a cutter for a called strike that Gameday thinks was called a ball, but it wasn't. FB waist high, outside corner, fouled, 2-2. Someone warming for the Yanks, didn't see who though. Takes a slider right...down...the...middle...of the zone. ꓘ, inning over. Top 7, 11-1 Yanks. 12 pitch 1-2-3 for Contreras, 93 through 6. He might start the 7th, doubt he'll finish it though. Soto, Judge, Verdugo for the Yanks.
