Elsewhere in MLB: Braves score the ghost-runner in the 10th to beat the Guardians 4-3, and hand them the their 2nd series loss this season.
With the O's also losing, if the Yanks win, they have the best record in the AL.
No they don't. Guardians still 10 games over. Yanks will be 9 over if they hold the lead.

Spoils a slider off the corner away, 3-2.
FB above middle, inside out liner to right for a leadoff single.

Verdugo jumps on a first pitch FB just inside middle, lines it to right for a single. Judge stops at 2nd with nobody out.

Hanging slider inner half, Stanton takes a big rip but misses, fouling it off.
Slider down and in, hit off the end of the bat, shattering it, goes foul, 0-2.
Sinker chopped to short, and if the relay stays in the same time zone, it's a double play.
Very easy 6-4-3 leaaves Judge at 3rd with 2 down.
Rizzo up.

Rizzo gets a meatball with a neon "Kill me!!!" sign, waist high, middle in, and hits a high drive that gets over the wall in right center, 2 run shot makes it 15-5 Yanks, and now if he wants to be stupid, Boone can bring in Cabrera to pitch the 9th.
