Since the game was a blow out I started sweeping and mopping while we were still playing. I did see Rizzo’s 300th. I thought about posting 300 rats 🐀 and 300 pieces of cheese, but then I thought I’d just post these and maintain what’s left of my sanity… So… x 300… Reflecting on my youth I could have never imagined how many home runs would be hit in future years nor that there would someday be 161 guys to reach 300… |

Yankee coaches need to tell their players to stop hustling in "meaningless" games/situations. It's phony hustle for the player's self-aggregation (stats) Torres makes hustling plays in terrific situations, and plays himself out of innings and blowing innings up for the other team, trying to hustle. He's a mixture of good and bad, like most players, and clever and un-clever, also like most players. That move got him a double out of a single, but was unnecessary with a 10 run lead and just for show, although Boone will never openly criticize it because he never openly criticizes any of his players. Defend it if you want, but I won't. He needed it to boost his SLG… 🤓 |

He needed it to boost his SLG… 🤓 "Classic" trashing Gleyber... Lol. I’ve been pulling for him as he’s become an underdog this year. I have to feel bad for him, knowing that he would love to put up good numbers and has even hinted that he’d take less to stay in NY. The way I see that play, if he stays at first, he’s not hustling. If he goes to second he’s taking an unnecessary risk. He couldn’t win. No one complained when we pulled off a double steak with a nice lead… |

This team seems to have a worrisome habit of getting hold and cold in stretches. It’s fun when everyone gets hot at the same time, but it really bites us when they all cool off at once… stay hot, guys. Time to show you belong….
