Infield in for Adames...
Misses a sinker almost down the middle, 0-1
Sinker inside, 1-1
Much, much more competitive slider dives outside late, gets a chase, 1-2
Same pitch, but lower so easy to take, 2-2
Comes inside with a sinker, misses by 2-3 inches, taken, 3-2
PERFECTLY located slider stays in the zone almost the whole way, then makes a left turn and winds up just out of the zone, swung on and missed, K, 2 down.
Big, big out there.

You got a long way to go inger! Well, we have a long history and the games are best when you’re here, my friend. I’m remembering s we hen I joined PP, and you were already there and a moderator. I used to use you as my source of all information, and you (and Maize) were both incredibly inviting and helpful. Gosh, Maize was still baby… Here’s to the good old days! 🍻… It's cool that so many posters from those days are over here posting. |

Thigh high cutter on the inside corner, Bauers swings and misses, 0-1
Cutter high, 1-1
Splitter low over the plate but Bauers lays off, 2-1
Chases a cutter under his hands off the plate waist high, 2-2
Changes up on him, a sinker in the same spot, this one drops instead of moving in on him, but Bauers still swings over for the K.
Good to see he's still the same old Bauers for a different team
Stroman works out of the man on 3rd, nobody out jam beautifully.
1-0 Yanks going top 4. 14 pitches for Stroman in the 3rd, 49 through 3.
Judge, Verdugo and Stanton for the Yanks.
Knicks down by 4 with 3:20 left in the 3rd. Must've been some sort of delay there.

The final Sunday Standings for today:
In the NL West the Dodgers appear to have gotten untracked again. They've now won 6 in a row, are 7 games over .500 at 18-11, and have opened a lead over the entire floundering rest of the division. The Padres and Giants are tied for 2nd, 2 games over, and 4 1.2 back; both teams played basically .500 ball this past week. The defending NL Champ D'backs are floundering, they lost 4 of 6 this week, are now 4 games under .500 at 12-16. They trail SD and SF by a game and the Dodgers by 5 1/2.. The Rockies went 3-4, a good week for them, but are now 13 games under at 7-20. They're 4 1/2 back of the D'backs, 5 1/2 games behind the Padres and Giants, and are already 10 games out of 1st..

Judge falls behind 1-2, then gets a FB up and in at 96, it ties him up a bit, and his fly to right makes Myers turn around fast to look, but it's an easy play for Chourio, 1 down.

O's in a back and forth game with the A's, we know how that winds up, 6-4 O's top 5 at Camden Yards.
Jays leading the Dodgers 3-0 in the 6th, I'd say Gausman is back, a 3 hitter so far with 3 K's
