He was freezing, even moving backwards thinking Westburg might catch the liner, so he had to change direction to start going, too much for him at this point. Slider low on the outer 3rd, 0-1 Knuckle curve to the bottom in the middle, 0-2 Flies open, missed way up away, 1-2 Rolls over on a curve low in the middle, grounds to Torres for out #1. |

92 pitches for Schmidt, and Boone takes him out on a small high, the whiff of Santander. Pitched a good game in a clutch spot. I got no real complaints with this one, wasn't even his usual inefficient self most of the game.
Santana in o face the righty Mountcastle with 2 down and a man of 1st.

FB in a dangerous spot, but good late tail, jams him just enough, high fly to medium deep right center is handled easily by Grisham, inning over.
Top 7, 1-0 Yanks.
Grisham for his 3rd try, then back to the top with Volpe and Soto, unless they PH for Grisham.
