Trevino gets a letter high cutter in the middle, hits a grounder to Henderson, who slides to stab it, but can't get up and set to throw, eats it for an infield hit.

Cutter waist high, just out of the zone inside, lined down the line in right, it just clears the wall and just stays fair for e 2 run HR!! Yanks take a 2-0 lead on the shock blast by Cabrera!!

Trevino back over .280 and Oswald awakens at a great time. A game of millimeters…

Cabrera's 4th HR: 103 mph, 352 feet, 21º launch angle, a HR in 5 of 30 parks.

I’m old enough to remember Mantle’s last MVP… Being a little snarky with my reply there. Stanton was the reigning MVP when he came to the Yanks, but hasn't played like one since. Had some good years, and some good playoff series, but those days are gone now. As for Mickey, my dad made sure I saw him play in person in his final season, when his glory days were long gone, too. Very cool Qwik. I love stuff like that. My father took us to watch Ted Williams in a game in Baltimore in the late 50s and impressed on me that we were seeing an all-time great hitter and that I would always be able to say I saw him in person. So here I am saying it.

Who said he can't hit? Could you tap in just a little higher tempo? …

Volpe falls behind 0-2, takes a ball, fouls one off... then can't check on a bounced curve for the K, inning over.
Yanks strike first from a surprising source, a 2 run HR by Cabrera, take a 2-0 lead going bottom 5.
16 pitches for Burnes in the 5th, 82 through 5 innings. Now we see if Gil can get a shutdown inning against the O's 5-6-7 hitters, Cowser, Westburg and Mullins.

It would be nice if Volpe learned the strike zone, after all he is the leadoff hitter.
