Maybe he's been hanging out with D-Rob.

Tries to jump a 1st pitch FB, but chases it about 4-6 inches high, swings under, 0-1 FB misses outside by an inch, doesn't get the Soto-call, 0-2. Bad call on that pitch. FB flies up and away, 1-2 Soto takes his timeout. Ump lecturing Soto about something. Oh, Soto is asking a guy in a white shirt to move out of the the area next to the batter's eye. Crowd boos at Soto's finicky complaint.

Perfect Madduz sinker in, Soto jackknifes back, but it hits the corner for the ꓘ, 1 down. Soto doesn't think so, but it WAS a strike.

Judge goes after a 1st pitch slider, waist high on the outside corner and hits a fliner right to Cowser for out #2

It really scares me that Judge is taking his big swing but not generating any power.

Wow, the LF gifted us a run. Volpe should have been a dead duck.

FB high, ball 1 FB just above the outside corner, swung under, 1-1 FB up and in, Rizzo fouls it off, 1-2. Fb up and in, Rizzo fights it off for a flare over short, Cowser plays it quickly but his throw home is maybe on time but way off line up the 1st base side, Volpe scores, and the throw goes into the well, allowing Rizzo to get to 2nd on the E-7. 1-0 Yanks on the clutch, professional hit by Rizzo.

If Rizzo had passed first base at the time of the throw, he should get third base. That's an elementary call. If Rizzo hadn't reached first yet, then he only gets second.
It's VERY possible that Rizzo had not reached first when the throw was made.

Wow, the LF gifted us a run. Volpe should have been a dead duck. Yeah, surprised by the send, because Cowser had it in time, but it worked. This time. Torres takes a ball then a strike 1-1 Sinker well low, 2-1.

Slider low/away out of the zone, Torres checks, but they appeal and the 1st base ump says he swung. The side says marginal non-swing. Should've been ball 3.
Sinker low/away is ball 3, and Rizzo is off on the pitch with 2 down.

Sinker low at 96, Torres tries to do the right thing and hit it back up the middle, but the chopper goes over Bradish right to Mateo, who throws out Torres to end the inning.
Good inning making Bradish throw some pitches to get Rodon a rest after he worked out of the jam.
24 pitches in the 3rd, and 59 through Bradish, who might be on some sort of pitchcount limit in his first start back from the IL
There's your run, Carlos; make it stand up.
Bottom 3, 1-0 Yanks. Top of the order for the O's: Henderson, Rutschman and Mountcastle.

Maybe he's been hanging out with D-Rob. D-Rob is still pitching in the big leagues. He's had an amazing career.

WOW what a strange first inning. Rodon escapes bases loaded no out and then the Yanks get a run after glaregate.

FB down the middle at 95. Henderson watches it go by. FB waist high, outside corner, 1-1 at 96 Slider breaks over the inner 3rd, Henderson is late and under, pops it near the camera well on the 3rd base side, but Cabrera gets over and makes a good backhand catch as he bounces off the screen, 1 down.

Rutschmann takes a ball, then gets a waist high FB outer half, and hammers it right of center, but Grisham is playing that goes back near the track and catches, 2 down.
