Susyn and Justin were talking about the lack of depth on the bench and no days off for starters. Failed to mention paying $30 million for a DH that can't play OF or run. That was baked in when they traded for him. Can't do nuthin' about that except DFA him, and Hal throws away $$$ like elephants. |

4th straight Tiger swings at the 1st pitch, and Baez grounds it to Torres for the 2nd out.

Then Rogers gets a sinker either just on or just off the corner away, thigh high, and he takes it for the ꓘ, inning over.

Very easy 6 pitch 1-2-3 for Stroman and just 64 pitches through 5.
It would behoove the estimable Yankees hitters to maybe, possibly, conceivably score a run or two here, I'd think.
Rizzo, Torres and Wells for the Yanks in the 5th.

I won't be this year, but eventually they're going to have to make some tough decisions on Stanton and DJ. |

FB just outside middle at 93, and Rizzo is somehow late and fouls it off, 0-2
FB outside corner below the waist, fouled off
Curve finishes low, but Rizzo bounces it foul off 1st.
Change below the knees in the middle, also fouled
Change tails well outside and low, 1-2
FB above and inside middle, and Rizzo is on time, but underneath, pops it to medium center, Perez catches, 1 down.
Missed two cookies that at bat, Rizzo.

Starts on a slider down and in, checks just in time, 3-2
Slider in the zone down and away, Wells late and under slices it foul down the left side.
