Fantastic Qwik! That's it! Remember when Nokes got drilled by Clemens and he caught the ball and threw it right back to Roger? I think he confused the Rocket.  Clemens was almost like “You dare to throw the ball to the greatness that I am?”… |

What’s up with Salvador Perez? He’s going nuts, crazy good. Old catchers aren’t supposed to get better.,, At the start of the season, there were questions on whether the Royals should trade Perez. But now they are 20-13. |

FB inside by 3 inches is ball 4, but Carpenter chases and fouls it back.
Sinker at the knees either just missed or just clipped the zone, ball 4. Gameday says 5% strike, so marginal.

Sutter bounced again, and it's 3-2
Ferguson command not good again today.
Missing in the middle of the plate and well out of the zone
Sinker in the middle, hit well toward the 56 hole, Volpe slides to make a good backhand grab, then rushes the transfer trying to get the force at 2nd, and drops it. Infield hit, 1st and 2nd, 1 out.
And that's it for Ferguson. Keith due in.

Andy Ibanez will PH for the lefty Keith, so Boone goes to Jeff Luke Weaver. The Yanks will try to get 2-2 2/3 innings from Weaver and then hopefully turn things over to Holmes to try to close it out.
