Today will be a challenge. Skubal has been dominant so far in 2024, and going back to 2022 he's basically pitched like a prime Johan Santana. If the weather in New York is anything like it is here about 100 miles south, it will make for very difficult playing conditions. I know the Yanks are off tomorrow, but Detroit is scheduled to play in Cleveland, so if they can't get it in today the makeup game will have to be late in the season. The weather channel seems to show rain starting at 11am for the rest of the day... Doesn't look good... |

Probably turn on the tube to see the “weather delay” banner up. If not, there may be a stoppage or delay or three…
