Canes called for a trip as D'Angelo runs over Cuylle with a high elbow. Officials talking about adding a 2nd penalty, or replacing the 1st penalty.

Might change the trip on Necas to a major penalty for elbowing on D'Angelo.

Replaced the penalty, nothing additional for the elbow, called roughing on D'Angelo and Necas comes out of the box.

A little flashback during the rain delay. I remember this series well. It was really cold in Chicago at the time and this was the Friday afternoon at Wrigley. I had tickets for the Sunday game which was on ESPN, but couldn't go because I had recently torn my ACL and couldn't handle all the walking going to a Cubs game requires. My wife ended up taking my son and the game ended up being one of those ridiculously long extra inning games that went deep into the Sunday night. The Yankees did win if I remember correctly.

What a passing play off the faceoff. Two passes gets down low near the net to Kreider, but doesn't shoot, instead immediately backhands blindly to Zibanejad open on the right side of the net and he pots it right home, 2-1 Rangers on the PP goal.

Then he takes a penalty for knocking down the goalie, apparently.

Looks like Nestor stepped up and matched Skubal inning per inning. Hamilton seems to still be in a slump coming out of the pen.

The weather isn't getting better. The field isn't getting better. Shame we could not get the last inning before the tarp but to many people slipping.
